Warranty Officer and Administration Assistant
Tell us a bit about your role.
What motivated you to join Golf Cars Australia and how has your journey been so far?
I was looking for a change after working in retail for over 15 years. When I saw that this was a family run business, I was immediately drawn to it, as I’ve always enjoyed being part of a close knit, family oriented team. I also have fond memories connected to golf carts, having grown up on a golf course and even getting married on one.
In my role, I assist David, our Service Manager, with service enquiries, bookings, and all related tasks. I’ve recently taken on the warranty side of the business, which has been a great learning experience. I’m really enjoying the challenge there’s so much more to golf carts than I ever realised.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced and how did you overcome it?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was transitioning from retail, where I had over 15 years of experience, into my current role in the golf cart industry. It was a completely new environment with a lot to learn, especially when I started handling the warranty side of the business.
At first, it was a bit overwhelming there were so many components and processes I wasn’t familiar with. But I approached it step by step, asked questions, and took the time to understand how everything worked. With support from my team and my willingness to learn, I became more confident and efficient.
What are you reading/ watching or listening to at the moment and why do you like it?
I’m currently watching Madam Secretary because I really enjoy Téa Leoni and love political, crime, and drama series. I’m also watching One Piece, you can’t go wrong with a good anime!
I’m currently reading When the Moon Hatched since I needed another dragon themed story after finishing the Fourth Wing series.
If you could travel to one place in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to visit Egypt because I’m fascinated by its rich history and would love to see the pyramids and the Valley of the Kings.
What’s your favourite food or drink?
Anything Italian as it always reminds me of my Nonna
